All clients are consulted and informed throughout the job, so once we turn over a new AV system, the new tech team knows as much about the equipment and how to use it as we do. This is paramount in all our system designs, we want you to be as confident and excited about the new mixer or lighting control as we are to install it. After all, it will be yours to use for the next 10 years. If something does break we can troubleshoot with the tech team, which cuts down on repair costs, but it also helps the team to learn real-time repairs on items and gives them confidence in doing the work. The tech team understands how the system works, not just how to use it.

We believe our job is better when the end user knows as much as possible about their products as we do, and it makes us happy when we hear a client call and ask to buy a part because they want to replace a faulty SDI converter themselves. This saves them money in the long run, and we still get to climb the tall ladder and hang heavy speakers overhead, but replacing a converter is something every tech should know how to do without creating a repair ticket for a service call.
